Equine-assisted therapy & learning is almost here!

I have been busily working behind the scenes and networking with some Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) colleagues across the Pacific (Australia, US and Canada) to finalise my equine therapy and learning program “Empowering Equines” which is due to launched very soon! The EAGALA Model of Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Personal Development, is experiencing rapid growth around the globe because it is solutions focused, and we are delighted be able to bring this unique service to both individuals and groups in Rural Victoria.

So what is Empowering Equines?

Research studies show the positive effect horses can have on people through these experiential activities. During the program we work together in a safe and therapeutic environment to empower and transform people from a range of backgrounds to find their solutions experientially via equine interaction to develop, learn and grow professionally and emotionally on an individual and group level.

The EAGALA model is experiencing rapid growth around the globe because it is solutions focused. Equine-assisted therapy often helps clients change and grow more effectively and quickly than traditional clinical approaches.

We are launching this program very soon, so stay turned for more info!

Executive Director/Founder, EAGALA Certification.

Did you know horses can recognise human emotions?

Here is an interesting study which was recently featured on BBC news, the study suggests horses might have an innate ability to recognise emotions, and are able to discriminate between happy and angry human facial expressions.
