Should meditation be taught in schools?

New research in the fields of Psychology, education and neuroscience shows teaching meditation in schools is having positive effects on students’ well-being, social skills and academic skills.

A video from The University of Melbourne’s Professor Lea Waters has just been released, which discusses a view on the importance of teaching mindfulness meditation in schools.

It’s a visual explanation of a systematic, evidenced-based review of the effect of meditation interventions in schools.
