The team at Pure Empowerment would like to warmly welcome Donna Dunham to our team. Donna has just commenced with the practice and is working under the supervision of Rachael Willis. She is a 5 + 1 intern, consulting Mondays and Fridays and is now taking bookings.
The past two months has been an exciting time at Pure Empowerment as we have begun expanding our team, now with two new Provisional Psychologists to assist Rachael in servicing the Greater Shepparton community. Demand for Mental Health services in regional areas are often in surplus and with our current client waiting list bursting, we are delighted to be able to open up more appointment times to assist clients.
Donna is a provisionally registered psychologist in her final year of placement. She completed her psychology degree at Deakin University, and is currently in her final year of a Master of Professional Psychology at Cairnmillar Institute. Donna’s research dissertation was titled: Distinguishing Between Self and Other in People with Autism: – a topic close to her heart.
Donna has worked for the past 5 years with adolescents in the areas of: trauma, PTSD, mental health issues (depression, anxiety, personality disorders), attachment issues, and substance abuse. She has undergone training in: Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT); Mindfulness; Trauma-Informed Approach (The Neurosequential Model with Bruce Perry); Posttraumatic Stress Disorder; Art Therapy (ARTPA); and Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR; Graham Taylor).
Donna looks forward to meeting with all clients across the lifespan on Mondays and Fridays, at an affordable fee.
Please join us in welcoming Donna.
