Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidence based treatment that is underpinned by learning theory.
Essentially, the way you think impacts on the way you feel and the way you feel in-turn impacts on the way you act or behave which then impacts of how you think and feel…by challenging the way you think and behave, this can bring about change. Sessions are structured and require homework tasks in-between sessions.
One book we recommend is called “Change your thinking” by Dr Sarah Eldeman.
