🔥Mindful Monday 🔥 Do you feel like you’ve got one foot 🦶 in the “I’m ok to keep going” while the other foot 🦶 is in the “I’m really feeling tired, close to burnout and really need a break” camp ⛺️? It’s ok if you’re feeling tired 😴. Sometimes it’s a fine line between both camps. I want you to acknowledge this and then take some action for reset. Even if just for an hour (if you can’t block out more time that’s ok 👌 but promise me you’ll secure some more soon in your diary). We are responsible for noticing our limits and creating boundaries for self care. Just like the ploughed area of this paddock creates a boundary so that the fire cannot burn the other paddock and the hay nearby. Of course, we can always call in the water tanker if needed to put out spot fires 🔥 but it’s much easier if we just set these boundaries from the start.

Ps: A new community is coming soon just for you.

📰 Newsflash! As at 23.11.20, we will continue to provide services via 💯 % Telehealth. In February 2021, we hope to return to in office F2F and also continue to provide Telehealth so you will have a choice of either. Thanks all 🙏
Update today as 23.11.20 for healthcare workers: Premier Daniel Andrews yesterday announced that the whole of Victoria has moved to the last step on the COVID-19 roadmap for reopening, as of midnight 22 November.
This will have some implications for psychologists’ work.
What this means for psychology
Allied health remains in the ‘restricted’ category, and the advice remains that if you can provide telehealth services then you should continue to do so.
A COVIDSafe Plan should continue to be implemented for all workplaces and practices.
Face-to-face services for routine and preventative care can be provided, where it is not possible to provide the service by telehealth.
Restrictions on the purpose, number and time limits for visitors to hospital and care facilities have been removed but remain subject to the rules/regulations of each individual facility.
Group sessions
Changes to the delivery of group sessions are as follows:
• Indoor group therapies in clinical treatment settings may increase to a maximum cap of 20 participants (within density quotients)
• Outdoor group therapies may increase to a maximum cap of 50 participants. Owing to the proximity to other participants and potential for contact, face masks still should be worn by all participants.
Personal protective equipment
There are no changes to personal protective equipment requirements
Face masks and eye protection are still mandatory for healthcare workers across Victoria, and the fact sheet on the DHHS website outlines the details around the use of masks and eye protection.
